Walked through an Iron Age settlement- how cool is that!

June 27- Tain to Dornoch.

Environment has gone from lush to dry above

Inverness. Today it is coastal with walks along the beach- still no rivers and feels drier.

Saw a buzzard Along the beach- it “treads air” while watching possible prey. Scaled the fence without issue. Walked on the walls of an Iron Age settlement- had I not had a hotel room, I would have camped here- pretty cool. Weather fabulous and expected to stay so For awhile. Vikings invaded and lived near here. No distance hikers seen yet. Whole area reminds me of show “Outlander”. Dornach has ties to Carnegie family and Madonna /Guy Ritchie got married here
