San Sebastian to Zarautz - 14.8 Miles

October 3, 2025 - from the itinerary - walk along the coast of Spain from San Sebastian to Zarautz for 2 nights.

Cheated a bit by using the elevator to start the big uphill of the day. After 3 days off and using both the inhaler and my nasal decongestant I think I finally broke the code for breathing. I was able to lead the day without poles at 4 mph. I haven't been able to do this for years. It was a lovely day of walking.

Even though the walk description said there wasn't a lot of coastal walking, it seemed the majority of the day was within sight of the ocean. The weather was lovely and it was a great experience. So far, very similar to the Southwest Coast Path.
