Packing

Packing for 70 days is no easy thing.

Packing for 70 days with weather which will vary from snow to rain to heat is no easy thing.

Thankfully, I will be using a logistics company, BUT the weight is limited to 20kg.

People who follow me know that I travel light, but this time my luggage is bigger and heavier than normal. I’ve decided to use my 60L pack for the bulk of my gear - this is what will be moved by Caminoways - and it weighs 16.6 kg. I’ll also be using a 30L pack for daily use. I’ll be carrying 2L of water. I’ve also brought electrolytes, perkkier bars for a daily jolt, and dubbins to keep my boots in shape. The other heavy things are my electrics, 3(!) pair of shoes, various medicines/strapping tapes/RX/medicine cabinet,and more T-shirts than usual.

Bunny and my travel elephant (thank you Lisa) also are coming.
